Considered by many to be West Virginia's ultimate railroad mecca, Cass Scenic Railroad offers excursions that will transport you back in time. The steam powered Shay and other geared locomotives of Cass relive an era when steam locomotives were an essential part of everyday life.
Trips Offered: Cass to Whittaker Station, a two hour trip; Cass to Bald Knob, a five hour trip; and Cass to Spruce, a five hour trip.
Dates of Operation: May through October, plus some seasonal special trips.
