Scale drawing of the two Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (B&O) roundhouses at Martinsburg, West Virginia (WV), part of the locomotive and machine shop complex erected by the B&O in Martinsburg beginning in 1849. The B&O's two roundhouses built at Piedmont, WV, just after the Civil War, were identical to the Martinsburg roundhouses, and the B&O roundhouses erected at Grafton, WV were of nearly identical design. |
