Norfolk and Western 100 Ton Coal Car Class GS

When this article was published in May of 1921, an order for 500 of these cars was nearing completion at the Roanoke shops of the Norfolk & Western Railway. The railway designated these gondola cars as Class GS. The N&W Historical Society Archives has plans and photos available of the Class GS cars.
