From West Virginia Railroads - Model Railroading

On January 6, 1887, the Ohio River Railroad (OR) was completed between Wheeling, Parkersburg, and Point Pleasant. In April of 1888, a line completed to Guyandotte, Cabell County, provided the Ohio River Railroad a link with the C&O Railway in Huntington, Kanawha County.
